Best Year Yet
B♭ major134 BPM4/44:13top-downhigh confidence
Capo 1 — play the shapes in A and it sounds in B♭ major. Much easier than fingering B♭ major straight.
Verse 1
Coffee strong, calendar full
Truck won't quit, sun on the hood
Phone keeps ringing, none of it bad
Best damn news I think I've ever had
Same friends, but they're showing up more
Same job, but it's working like never before
Health is good, family's tight
And somehow everything's coming out right
Pre-Chorus
Took a long road to get to this place
Now I'm standing in the middle of grace
Chorus
This is the best year yet
Don't gotta look back, don't gotta forget
The kind of season you don't have to chase
Just stand up in it, just feel the place
This is the best year yet
Better than the dream, better than the bet
Sun on my shoulders, world at my back
The good's been a long time coming
But it's here and ain't goin' back
This is the best year yet
Verse 2
Old truck running, paid-off bill
Right one by my side and she's got me still
Kids grown, doing alright on their own
Old wood porch finally feels like home
Walked through fire, paid my dues
Lost some battles, lost some shoes
But the road I'm on now, I built it true
And ain't a single thing I'd rather do
Pre-Chorus
Took the long way, didn't always know
But I sure as hell know it now
Chorus
This is the best year yet
Don't gotta look back, don't gotta forget
The kind of season you don't have to chase
Just stand up in it, just feel the place
This is the best year yet
Better than the dream, better than the bet
Sun on my shoulders, world at my back
The good's been a long time coming
But it's here and ain't goin' back
This is the best year yet
Final Chorus
This is the best year yet
Don't gotta look back, don't gotta forget
The kind of season you don't have to chase
Just stand up in it, just feel the place
This is the best year yet
Earned every minute, ain't a single regret
Sun on my shoulders, world at my back
The good's been a long time coming
And I'm never going back
This is the best year yet
Outro

Generated from the chord chart. These are real guitar shapes for the chords we detected, not a transcription of what was played on the record.
Raw note map (experimental)
This is the unfiltered pitch detection across the whole mix — vocals, bass and drums included — mapped onto a fretboard. It is not a playable arrangement and no one should try to read it as one. It is here only because it is the raw material everything else was built from.
Download note mapA lead sheet, not a full score. The melody line has been reduced automatically from the recording and paired with the detected chords. Expect the shape of the tune to be right and the details to be approximate.
