What this site collects

No analytics, no advertising trackers, no tracking cookies, and no account to create. I do not know who you are when you read this.

Two ordinary things do happen:

• The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and like every web host Cloudflare keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. I do not use those logs to build any profile of visitors, and I do not export them.
• If you switch the site between light and dark, that choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage so the page remembers it next time. It never leaves your device and it never reaches me.

When you contact me

The contact form is handled by Formspree, which passes your message to my inbox. Whatever you put in the form — typically a name, an email address and a note — goes to me and to Formspree as the processor. I use it to reply to you and nothing else. I do not sell it, rent it, trade it or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for. You can also just email me directly at [email protected].

Other people’s players on these pages

Some pages embed things I do not run: Spotify and Apple Music players, YouTube videos, and the Beach Country Radio stream. When you press play on one of those, you are talking to that company and their own privacy policy applies. YouTube videos here are embedded through youtube-nocookie.com and do not load at all until you click them, so nothing is requested from YouTube until you ask for it.

The Instagram and Facebook posting tool

I run a private tool of my own that posts my music to my own Instagram and Facebook accounts through Meta’s Graph API. It is worth being precise about it, because it is the reason this page has to exist at all.

• It is used by me, on my own accounts. It is not offered to anyone else and there is no way for another person to sign into it.
• It reads and writes only my own posts, and holds only my own access token, which is stored on my computer and never published to this site.
• It does not collect, request, store or process data about you, about my followers, or about anybody who interacts with my posts. It does not read comments, messages or follower lists.
• It shares nothing with any third party, because there is nothing to share.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your data, and getting rid of it

Since I hold nothing about you unless you emailed me, there is usually nothing to delete. If you have written to me and you would like your message and email address deleted from my inbox, ask and I will do it. Write to [email protected] with the word “delete” in the subject line and I will confirm when it is done. The same address works for asking what I hold, or for correcting it.

Changes

If this changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top. If it ever changes in a way that actually matters — if I start collecting something — I will say so plainly here rather than bury it.
