The charts are yours
September 5, 2026
Something on this site that almost nobody has found: there are chord charts for nearly the whole catalog, and they're free.
Ninety-odd songs, with the chords sitting over the words where they belong, plus the key, the tempo, and where to put a capo if you'd rather not fight a barre chord. Sheet music for a good chunk of it. MIDI files, if that's how you work. You don't need an account and I'm not collecting your email. They're just there.
I did it for a slightly selfish reason. A song that only exists as a recording is a finished object — you can play it, and that's the whole relationship. A song with a chart is a thing you can pick up. Somebody learning it on a back porch in another state is a completely different life for a song than one more stream, and I'd rather have both.
Fair warning: the charts were generated first and corrected by hand second, so some of them are better than others. If you sit down with one and hit a chord that's plainly wrong, tell me. I've fixed a pile of them that way already and every correction has come from somebody who bothered to email.
They're at davidalangraham.net/chords. Take what you want. If you learn one and play it for someone, that's the best thing that can happen to a song, and it costs me nothing.
